Kenwa Matsuda askes his volunteer teachers to join him for his speech during a ceremony March 29 aboard Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan. He requested to get up in front of the class to speak in English and show his appreciation for his volunteer teachers. He used examples of what they taught him such as, fairytales, fables and myths. Laughing with the class, Matsuda expressed how grateful he was for this program. Matsuda has attended the class since 2013 and is a retired school principal.
