Military medical personnel complete practical application seminar in Cambodia[MIGRATE]

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Ryan W. Marczynski demonstrates how to properly apply a tourniquet during a practical application seminar March 20 as part of Cambodia Medical Exercise 14-1 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The seminar is part of a weeklong medical subject-matter expert exchange focused on preparing and planning for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts. During the seminar, participants learned how to properly use and improvise certain medical equipment, such as tourniquets, to better support first aid and triage procedures. Marczynski is a corpsman with 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
