Child abuse prevention is the responsibility of everyone and any suspected abuse must be reported. Child abuse, without the proper support, can last a lifetime. Participants run uphill to the finish line during the 7th Annual TriKids and Women’s Only Triathlon March 17 aboard Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan. The triathlon tested the participant’s abilities in the swimming, biking and running events. The fair was an open event for the local and U.S. communities to come together and enjoy food, music and a fun land for the children with rides and bounce houses. The race brought U.S. and local communities across Okinawa together to take part in friendly competition. Racers on road bikes completed five laps around Camp Kinser’s base for a total of 42 km. Gray Maynard demonstrates a technique - CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, Japan - Gray Maynard demonstrates a technique during a mixed martial arts clinic held by the MMA Cage Crusaders at the House of Pain Sept. 6 aboard Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. Maynard and the three other instructors believe that hands on experience is the best way to learn. The MMA fighters taught a mixture of wrestling and jujitsu fighting style. After each period of demonstration the Marines were encouraged to practice the new moves.
