Cpl. Jude Exantus, right smiles with a service member's daughter on top of an Assault Amphibious Vehicle April 4 during a United Service Organization Easter celebration on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan. Okinawa children and service members’ children came together to participate in Easter activities, such as egg dyeing, making rabbit masks and an egg hunt. The Camp Schwab USO plans to organize this Easter celebration annually. Exantus is a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and AAV crew chief with Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. - Cpl. Lt. Col. Maria McMillen and Col. Edward Bligh salute the Marines during the redesignation ceremony for 3rd Transportation Support Battalion Oct. 1 at the parade field on Camp Foster. The battalion is comprised of headquarters, motor transport, landing, and support companies. Consolidating the four companies will improve the support available to III Marine Expeditionary Force, according to Bligh. McMillen is from Craig, Colorado, and the commanding officer for 3rd TSB, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Bligh is from Athens, Pennsylvania, and is the commanding officer for CLR-3. - Lt. Col. Maria McMillen and Col. During the event the Marines and rock climbing enthusiasts paired off into groups and competed for points gained by climbing the furthest along the top of the rock wall.
