The elf tryouts consisted of 10 squad pushups, 10 pullups and 10 ammunition can lifts. Eleven units competed in five challenges throughout the day and the team with the fastest time won. The service members must comply with the III Marine Expeditionary Force/Marine Corps Installations Pacific Liberty Regulations in Japan, published on Nov. 26, 2014. The TTX was the final event of Cambodia Medical Exercise 14-1. The event focused on large-scale planning for potential humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts in the region.
