MCIPAC Communication Strategy and Operations

Apr 7, 2016

Lt. Col. Patrick S. Flanery and a Camp Mujuk Marine present a commemorative rock to the Mayor of Ocheon-eup and other community leaders April 5 aboard Camp Mujuk, Ocheon-eup, Republic of Korea. Twenty Camp Mujuk Marines and local community leaders planted 40 trees throughout the camp. Flanery, commanding officer of Camp Mujuk, and the Ocheon Community leaders planted the "Ocheon Family Tree" symbolizing the strong and growing bond with the surrounding Ocheon community. This bond is crucial to Camp Mujuk’s role providing the Marine Corps with a foreword-based platform for training as well as a staging area for Marines to respond to contingency and humanitarian aid missions in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
