Sgt. Eduardo Castillo observes and impact area Aug. 31 at the Yausubetsu Maneuver Area during Artillery Relocation Training Program 14-2. During ARTP 14-2, fire support teams consisting of forward observers and field radio operators observed the impact area and directed fire missions for two separate artillery batteries. Castillo is a Los Angles, California, native and forward observer with 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 3rd Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
