MCIPAC Communication Strategy and Operations

Nov 28, 2016

Lance Cpl. Lucero Ventura, left, and Lance Cpl. Ladwaune Edwards carve a turkey before a special Thanksgiving meal served to Okinawa patrons at the Promise Keepers Homeless Shelter Nov. 24 in Urasoe City, Okinawa, Japan. The event strengthened the relationship between service members and Okinawa residents by allowing them to volunteer in the local community and provide food to the needy. Service members from Camp Kinser gathered to serve a vast array of Thanksgiving dishes and eat with the patrons. Ventura is a warehouse clerk with Supply Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, and is a Los Angeles, California, native. Edwards is a warehouse clerk with 3rd Supply Battalion and is a Jacksonville, North Carolina, native. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Janessa K. Pon)
