Marines grab food after the Cpl. Medina and Lance Cpl. Hug 2nd Annual Memorial Run May 12 aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. On May 12, 2015, Cpl. Sara A. Medina, 23, a combat photographer and Lance Cpl. Jacob A. Hug, 22, a combat videographer assigned to Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations Pacific-Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, Japan, died while providing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to remote villages in Nepal during operation Sahayogi Haat. Marines, sailors and members of the military community came from all over Okinawa to honor Medina and Hug.
