CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan—Brig. Gen. Paul J. Rock Jr. speaks to an exercise role-player Oct. 18 during the pandemic influenza isolation exercise aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. Exercise Constant Vigilance 2017 sharpens emergency response skills across Marine Corps Installations in Okinawa through rehearsals and drills in varying scenarios. This exercise tested the emergency response and preparedness procedures of corpsmen at the USNH Okinawa. Rock is the commanding general of Marine Corps Installations Pacific-Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, Japan.
