Okinawa Marines Photos
MCIPAC Communication Strategy and Operations

Dec 20, 2017

Volunteers pose for a photo Dec. 15 at the Okinawa Airakuen Sanatorium in Nago, Okinawa, Japan. Service members travelled from across Okinawa to share their Christmas spirit with residents of the sanatorium. They sang Christmas carols and brought freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and banana bread for the residents. Since 1938, the Nago Airakuen Sanatorium has been a rest home for leprosy patients or ex-leprosy patients. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Danielle R. Prentice)
