MCAS FUTENMA, OKINAWA, Japan – A chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense specialist Marine heats a 2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile capsule Jan. 11 in the gas chamber on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. The gas chamber is a way for Marines to build confidence in their equipment. Marines spend their time in the chamber testing their maneuverability and clearing their masks.
