Marines ride out on a combat rubber raiding craft as they prepare to conduct night infiltration Sept. 20 at U.S. Naval Base Guam during Exercise Valiant Shield 2014. The Marines gave students a taste of Marine recruit training, taught them about different military occupational specialties, and introduced them to different military vehicles. The Marines are on Tinian as part of Exercise Valiant Shield 2014, a biennial exercise which focuses on training that enables real-world proficiency in sustaining joint forces.
