Marines with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Provost Marshal’s Office presented a letter of appreciation to the Okito Taxi Company, contracted with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, not only for their assistance in solving a credit card fraud case, but also turning in items left in taxis by service members. Businesses do their part by staying vigilant and reporting suspicious activity to PMO, according to Lewis, a native of Fredericksburg, Va. Marines ceremonially march out a cake Sept. 16 during the 3rd Marine Division’s 72nd anniversary ceremony on Camp Hansen. After the guest of honor ate the first piece of cake, the youngest and oldest Marines in the unit received a piece symbolizing the passing of tradition from older to younger generations. “We are a Marine Corps of tradition, concerned and thoughtful of our legacy,” said Maj. Gen. H.
