Republic of Korea Marines study a terrain map alongside U.S. Marines Oct. 7 at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex during Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-13. KMEP is a series of continuous combined training exercises designed to enhance the ROK-U.S. alliance, promote stability on the Korean Peninsula and strengthen ROK-U.S. military capabilities and interoperability. Lt. Gen. John Wissler addresses an audience May 15 at The Palms on Camp Hansen. Wissler spoke to the audience of the 2014 Military Women’s Leadership Symposium about his support of women in the military and what the Marine Corps leadership is doing about equality in different occupational fields. The symposium gave participants the chance to speak about issues in regards to being a female in the military. Wissler is the commanding general of the III Marine Expeditionary Force.
