Mami Andrew instructs a mixed-level yoga class August 2 at Gunners Fitness Center on Camp Foster. The class is one of many organized by Marine Corps Community Services Okinawa’s Semper Fit program, which recently earned the Blue-H Surgeon General’s Health Promotion and Wellness gold star award for the third consecutive year. A watermelon salsa, known as “Fire and Ice,” was one of many dishes offered as a healthy alternative July 2 at Camp Foster’s commissary during the Healthy Lifestyle Festival. The event featured free food, music, healthy giveaways and fun events for participants.
